Legendary Nirvana Show Set for DVD

October 16, 2009

Nirvana hasn't existed for fifteen years, but their legend shines on.  The most memorable concert given by the group, at the Reading Festival on August 30, 1992, is being preserved on DVD.

The show was voted number one by Kerrang magazine in the poll entitled 100 Gigs That Shook the World.  In a similar poll conducted by NME, the Nirvana performance earned the same honour.  The show took place at a time when bootleg recordings were popular at rock concerts.

The DVD will contain the show in its entirety, with improved colour quality.  The audio used will come directly from the original soundtrack.

Nirvana Live At Reading will be available on CD beginning on November 2.  The CD/DVD will hit stores on November 16, and will feature 25 songs.
