Your browser?s security settings might be set in a way that all cookies are automatically deleted. If this is the case, you will not be able to personalize your homepage and the city you choose for weather, for example, will always revert back to the original value, which is Vancouver for myTELUS.
Here's how you can modify your browser?s security settings to enable cookies, or to prevent the deletion of cookies before their expiry date. Choose the appropriate procedure for your browser.
Internet Explorer*
1. Click on "Tools" and "Internet Options".
2. Click on the "Privacy" tab.
3. Move the slider so that the privacy settings are set to "Medium".
Firefox*
1. Click on "Tools" and "Options".
2. Click on "Privacy".
3. Make sure "Accept cookies from sites" and "Accept third-party cookies" checkboxes are checked.
4. Make sure you select "they expire" on the pull-down menu.

No. The settings you have made to your myTELUS homepage are saved on your computer. Unless you delete "cookies" those changes will be maintained every time you open your browser. Note, though, that some privacy and security software products will automatically erase cookies. You can modify the settings in those programs to protect any files with information about your personal preferences.
First is the fresh, new design that provides you with control over how you want your myTELUS homepage to look, and the content that you want to appear there. Many more exciting changes are to come.
Yes. Some sections that were previously part of myTELUS are being removed. Several of them will be replaced by widgets from the content library that you can add to your personalized homepage. If there is content or information you would like to see added to the content library, just let us know.
You may add, delete and rearrange content on the homepage, which is accessible by clicking on the "My Home" tab.
1. Click on "My Home".
2. Click on "+ Add Content". A list of available content will appear.
3. Click on the content selections you'd like to add.
4. Click "Add".

To remove content from a page, simply click on the small "X" at the upper-right of the content module you'd like to remove.

All content is presented within modules. To move a content module, move your mouse over the module you'd click and hold the left-mouse button and drag the module to the desired location on the page.
You can also add pages to your experience at myTELUS. Create a page of sports-related modules, for example, or specific pages for each member of your household.
1. Click on "My Home".
2. Click on "Manage tabs".
3. In the pop up window that appears, click on "Add New Tab".
4. Enter the name for the new tab.
5. Click "Save".
The new tab will appear under "My Home". Follow the directions above for adding content to your new page.

3. In the pop up window that appears, uncheck the box (or click "Delete") next to the page(s) you'd like to remove.
4. Click "OK" in the pop up window that appears to confirm.
5. Click "Save".

You can completely customize any new pages that you create. The right column of the homepage, however, is static as it includes valuable information and services for TELUS customers. You can modify the two left columns of the homepage.
