Though he now shares stages and studios with Jurassic 5, Money Mark and Lyrics Born, Mike Relm didn't just become a DJ. He worked hard to get where he is now, playing gigs from high school dances to house parties and making mix-tapes and working odd jobs to support his turntable habit. Eventually, Relm cultivated the skills to earn him a win at the International Turntablist Federation's US championship in '99 (and he placed 2nd in worlds); an appearance in the documentary Scratch; write-ups in music magazines like Urb and XXL; and even a gig performing for Donald Trump. This kid's got a lot under his belt; from six scratch albums plus a solo mix, Radio Fryer, to starring in a documentary about his 2004 tours with Money Mark, Gift of Gab and D-Sharp.
